Hummer EV: noise test and drag race
The 1,000 hp Hummer EV Edition 1 at FAKT motion: the noise test for registration, a 20 percent gradient and a race against a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ and a BMW iX M60.

GMC Sierra 1500
The full-size pickup as a Denali with luxury equipment or as an AT4 for off-road use. The Sierra 1500 comes with a 6.2 V8 or 3.0 Duramax diesel, usually as a Crew Cab here.
GMC Sierra 2500 & 3500 HD
For heavy trailers, camper cabins and hard work: the Sierra HD with the 6.6 Duramax V8 diesel, and as a 3500 also with twin rear wheels (dually). As a Denali, its cabin is as finely equipped as a luxury SUV's.
GMC Yukon & Yukon XL
The big SUV with up to eight seats, closely related to the Chevrolet Tahoe and Cadillac Escalade. As a Denali with a 6.2 V8 and a premium interior, as the Yukon XL with even more space behind the third row.
GMC Hummer EV
Around 1,000 hp, four-wheel steering and removable roof panels: the Hummer EV as a pickup or SUV. Weighing over four tonnes empty, it needs a C1 licence or the old class 3 in Germany. Ask us about availability.

GMC and Hummer at GeigerCars
GMC builds the upmarket siblings of the Chevrolet Silverado and Tahoe: the Sierra and Yukon share their engineering, but as a Denali or AT4 they are far more richly equipped. We import them from the US ourselves, with a 6.2 V8 or Duramax diesel, and know the technology from sales and the workshop.
GMC and GeigerCars go back a long way. In 1991 we presented the GMC Typhoon, the fastest SUV of its time, and in 2006 we were recognised as Europe's most successful Hummer dealer. Today Hummer is a GMC model line: we took the Hummer EV, with around 1,000 hp, through its noise test for registration ourselves.
What we do for you
- Import and registration
- We import GMCs from the US ourselves and convert them for German registration. You get your vehicle ready to register, including the noise test for the Hummer EV.
- Workshop and service
- The Sierra and Yukon share their engineering with the Silverado and Tahoe. We handle diagnostics, maintenance and repairs, including on the Duramax diesel, in our own workshop.
- Wheels and accessories
- Wheels and complete wheel sets, bed covers, tow bars with wiring kits and genuine GM parts, fitted at our workshop on request.
- Pickups with camper cabins
- A Sierra HD with the Duramax diesel is an ideal base for a camper cabin or heavy trailers. We advise you on payload, weight upgrades and registration.
GMC FAQ
What is the difference between GMC and Chevrolet?
The Sierra and Silverado, Yukon and Tahoe share platforms and engines. GMC is the more upmarket make: Denali models have finer materials and more equipment, AT4 models a factory off-road package. Prices are a little higher accordingly.
Which licence do I need for the Hummer EV?
The Hummer EV weighs over four tonnes empty, well above the limit of a car licence. You need a class C1 licence or the old class 3. We are happy to advise you before you buy.
Can I register a GMC Sierra or Yukon in Germany?
Yes. We import the vehicles and convert them for German registration, for example lighting and indicators. We take care of the certificates and paperwork.
Sierra 1500 or Sierra HD?
The Sierra 1500 is the versatile pickup for everyday life and leisure. The Sierra 2500 and 3500 HD with the 6.6 Duramax diesel is built for heavy trailers and camper cabins, and the 3500 dually with twin rear wheels for the heaviest loads.
Do you also look after the Hummer H1, H2 and H3?
Yes. Hummers have been part of GeigerCars since the nineties, and in 2006 we were recognised as Europe's most successful Hummer dealer. We take care of maintenance and repairs and source spare parts, some of which you will find in our shop.
