Geiger Performance

Performance born from experience

For decades Geiger Performance has stood for exceptional US cars, technical development and the ambition to make the most of a special vehicle's potential. Our know-how was not built in the workshop alone. Race track, Nürburgring Nordschleife, drag strip, off-road terrain and historic motorsport are as much part of our story as the development of exceptional one-off builds and individual customer cars. We do not just build performance, we test and prove it under real conditions.

A milestone in our history is the Corvette C7 Z06 "Emma". Built by Geiger Performance and optimised throughout for track use, the Corvette lapped the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife in 6:56 minutes. Engine output alone was not the deciding factor: aerodynamics, suspension, cooling, brakes and setup were developed as one system and matched to each other. What we learned on this project still goes into our performance builds today.

Our Ford GT shows what vehicle development means at Geiger Performance. The supercharged V8 was completely rebuilt and enlarged to 6.2 litres. Paired with a 4.0-litre Whipple supercharger, the Ford GT produced 1,008 hp on our dyno. Here too the whole car was the focus: cooling, suspension, exhaust, gearing, brakes and wheels were extensively reworked and matched to the increased performance.

With the Dodge Viper "Molly" we took our experience to the race track as well. The car was built, developed and set up for use under racing conditions. Our Chevrolet COPO Camaro went down the quarter mile instead: at the Hockenheimring we took on a completely different discipline of motorsport, drag racing, where maximum power, traction and acceleration have to come together within a few seconds.

For us, performance is not only about speed on tarmac. For many years Geiger Performance has also been building extreme Jeep Wrangler conversions for road and trail. Lift kits, big wheel and tyre combinations, reinforced suspension and off-road components and extensive technical and engine modifications show another side of our work: developing vehicles consistently for their purpose.

At the same time our roots in historic motorsport are alive to this day. We compete in classic and hill climb races with American classics, combining historic vehicle technology with decades of workshop and motorsport experience.

Many of these projects reached a wide audience. In "Der Geiger – Boss of Big Blocks" on DMAX, viewers looked behind the scenes for years and watched exceptional US cars being developed, converted and tested in our workshop.

Whether it is the Corvette on the Nordschleife, the Viper on the race track, the COPO Camaro on the drag strip, the Ford GT with over 1,000 hp, the Jeep Wrangler off-road or an American classic at a hill climb: all of these projects stand for the philosophy of Geiger Performance.

Develop. Build. Tune. Test.

Decades of experience in performance, motorsport and vehicle development are the basis of our daily work today and go into every customer project.

Frequently asked questions

How do I book an appointment?

Please email your request to info@geigercars.de together with your vehicle registration document, or use the contact form on our website to arrange an appointment.

How much lead time does an appointment need?

The wait for an appointment can vary depending on the nature of your request and its scope. As a general rule, we recommend allowing for a lead time of around 2 to 4 weeks. This gives us enough time to make all the necessary arrangements to offer you the best possible service.

Which vehicles do you look after in your workshop?

We specialise in US vehicles. As a recognised service partner we look after Ford GT, Ford, Chevrolet, Corvette, Cadillac, Dodge and RAM, among others. Indian motorcycles are serviced and repaired in our own motorcycle workshop.

Do I have to have bought my vehicle from you?

No. Our workshop, upgrades and parts are open to every owner of a US vehicle, wherever you bought it.

Do you also look after classic and vintage US cars?

Yes. American classics have been part of our work for decades, and we race them ourselves at classic and hill climb events. From maintenance and repairs to engine and transmission rebuilds, classics are in good hands with us.

Do you repair accident damage?

Yes. We handle accident repairs including bodywork and paint, so your vehicle looks and drives the way it did before the damage.

How is power measured after tuning?

On our own dyno. Every figure we quote has been measured there by us. We deliberately tune so the engine can handle the power in the long run, and adapt cooling, suspension and brakes where needed.

Does my vehicle have to come to Munich for a software upgrade?

Not always. On some vehicles, such as the Jeep Wrangler with the 3.0-litre V6 diesel, you can remove the control unit and send it to us. Just ask and we will tell you whether that works for your vehicle.

Are your modifications road legal?

Yes. We do not fit parts that cannot be entered in the vehicle documents. For wheels, suspension, exhaust or performance upgrades we arrange the required certificates and have the changes registered.

Do you also plan complete builds?

Yes. From a single part to a complete build with its own paint, wheels, suspension and engine, we develop your project together with you. Bring us your idea and we will advise you on feasibility and registration.

Do you also handle individual inspections and special registrations?

Yes. We prepare your vehicle, take care of certificates and registrations and accompany the inspection, whether after a tuning build, an axle load upgrade or a conversion.

Can you homologate a vehicle imported from the USA?

Yes, homologating US imports is one of our core services. We handle the technical conversion and the certificates and accompany the registration in Germany.

Can I order spare parts through you?

You're welcome to order spare parts through us. We offer a wide range of original and aftermarket parts for various vehicle models. Just let us know exactly what you need and for which vehicle, and we'll take care of sourcing it. Contact us directly by phone, email or our online contact form to place an order.
